Logo Design Brief

The new "Diabolical Software" company needs a logo. We develop any software in the "consumer entertainment" category, mostly games with a dark feel (i.e. gothic cartoon style to horror movie style).

The logo should also have a dark or evil feel, but it could be either a serious horror movie style or a cartoony goth feel. Among other things, this logo will be shown as a full screen splash page for games so detail is preferred over simplicity. Realistic textures or a goth style cartoon mascot are examples of details that could be used. I don't have a strong preference on colors, but red and black seem like a good combination.

Target Market(s)

Serious Gamers. Fans of horror movies, vampires, and zombies. Could also include tweens who like vampire books/movies such as Twilight.

  * A gothic cartoon style character (for examples of the style, see Nightmare before Christmas, or Living Dead Dolls)
  * Devil horns and or devil tail on the word Diabolical
