Logo Design Brief

I am starting a new independent used car dealership. We will provide quality pre owned vehicles. We are not a cheap "old style" used car outlet. The logo will need to be used on a range of signage from business cards to outside signage to Websites. I believe the background needs to be bright (not fluro) in order to be seen from a distance (e.g. Building sign from the road). I would like classy but simple.
