eBook Cover Design Brief

I need a eBook cover for "Legend", the first novella in the "Wolf Lake" series.

Legend will be self published and available on Amazon as a Fantasy/Fiction ebook novella.

The story:

Orphaned as a child, Samantha grew up into a strong but lonely woman working on her doctorate thesis by researching the history of myths and legends. But when she uncovers an actual werewolf pack, the world of myth becomes her new reality.

Must have

• The cover must include the story title on one line and the series title on a second line. Story title and series title should be in the same font style with the series title a smaller font size.
  
  Story Title: Legend
  Series Title: A Wolf Lake Novella
  
  Must include author's name: Jennifer Kohout
  
  Fonts should be clean and easy to read without distracting from the image.
  
  Cover art vision description:
  I would like to see part of a wolf's head in the foreground. The wolf's head is turned at an angle, almost in profile but not quite. We see part of the wolf's jaw/muzzle, one (gold) eye and an ear. Resting on the top of the wolf's head is an obviously feminine hand. The image should convey the idea that the woman is petting or caressing the wolf's head. The wolf should be auburn/red in color. Please, no long finger nails painted red.
  
  In the background we see a lake surrounded by mountains and trees. It's a clear night and the moon is full.
  
  The overall feel of the cover should be slightly dark, sensual.
  
  I would like to use this same foreground image as the basis for future titles in this series (and ideally the same designer) with the background image changing to match the specific title.
  
  A layered Photoshop file with these specs:
  
  Resolution: 300dpi
  Height: 2500 px
  Width: 1560 px
  Color Space: RGB
  
  Please separate all major elements in layers, especially any copy.
  
  Also include any fonts used.
  
  Note: If you think you have a fabulous idea and want to submit it I am open to submissions that stray from the description above.
