Hi All


Apologies if there is a little delay in response to designs. MCT is non-profit society (similar structure in governance to a co-op) which means certain things such as branding need committee approval. Our committee is made up of professionals who don''t work directly with the business day-to-day, meaning it isn''t quite as quick to get responses as you may be expecting.

I will be getting committee decisions on designs as quickly as possible, though this could mean up to a couple of days delay from your submission. As of now (9:30pm BST on the 11th Oct), I have responses for all designs submitted by 6pm on the 10th Oct, I will be adding these shortly.

May I take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

In terms of colour preference, we seem to be in favour of Red, Blue and Green designs, though without gradients, just flat colours.

As this was the first time we have used DesignCrowd, we chose to utilise the refundable payment option.

To all who have submitted so far, thank you! A special thanks to those who have mocked up buses and stationary to support our visualisation process (or, truth be told, lack thereof - I assume this is common with your customers judging on the volume of support submissions of this nature). Both the quality of design and support of designers has been astounding!

I have arranged for a review of all designs (submitted to date) on Friday afternoon this week. Whilst we won''t be making the final decision until the project is complete we will be whittling the submissions down at this time. Ultimately, if your project hasn''t been eliminated to date, your design has made it through the initial suitability checks and will be reviewed again at this point; thanks for your patience.

By Friday I will be left with three categories for designs already submitted -
1: Under Consideration (it''s good as is, we can see how it fits the company and can be worked into livery and stationary)
2: Change Request (we like the design, though a couple of tweaks may be required to support a particular aspect of our branding strategy)
3: Eliminated (some designs have shown fantastic innovation and creativity, though unfortunately may not link in to our overall strategy and branding image. Whilst some have already been eliminated, there can only be one final design and so there will be more. I''ll try to provide constructive feedback where I can, though sometimes I am flummoxed for anything beyond "I like it, but it isn''t the design that best fits our vision". I hope you can understand)
