Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for an early-stage venture fund. We leverage access to world-class medical research and deep involvement of our MD investors to invest in groundbreaking orthopedic technologies. We've done a logo in the past with a spine image but it looks too chiropractic and want to get away from that look. It can be an abstract icon above or beside text or something that denotes orthopedic. Try to get away from anything that looks generic. The final design should communicate new venture fund tied in with orthopedic technologies. Attached is OLD designs we want to get away from this look. Both serif and sans serif fonts are fine to use. Blue and dark grey are the colors.
