Business Card Design Brief
I need a business card for my consulting business that can capture:
1) Non-traditional and serious in a modern sense - clean but interesting typography, strategic use of color.
2) Spatial and proportional balance. Atypical organization is encouraged, if it is part of a harmonic system.
3) Articulates spatial order and rationalization of complex oceans of data.
4) The card as a canvas. I don't want a corporate logo.
I am an expert in geospatial modeling and algorithms. Things I work with:
- 3D time-space maps;
- Billions of 2D points that have relationships and can be clustered in different ways (http://tinyurl.com/2eztl2n);
- Spanning trees and routing algorithms (http://tinyurl.com/2ec3av5)
I recommend spending some time here: http://www.processing.org/exhibition/
Sample text fields to include on the card (examples, not final):
name: "Nino Walker Consulting"
expertise: "Applications, Architectures, and Algorithms"
contact: "555 Lundys Lane, San Francisco, CA 94110"
email: "nino@ni-no.info"
phone: "555.555.5555"
Updates
Hi all,
Thanks for the excellent contributions. I was often extremely impressed with the work, and the final selection has come down to those which capture a nuanced messaging.
I am currently testing the designs of the finalists among my peers and will be making a selection soon.
Thanks,
Nino
