Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design that looks good 1 inch small for our invoices and 5 feet large for the sides of our trucks. Our slogan is "surviving the test of time" because we have overcome the worst challenges and prevailed. It must have a bold corporate "weathered' look. We have thought about a old rusty Spanish coin, something like what you would image coming from an sunken pirate ship.
