Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our website- LAChatSalon.com. The LA is short for Los Angeles, and not the french word for the (La) in case there is some confusion. For the logo our initial idea was to somehow incorporate a cameo (see attached) type silhouette into either a webcam, a computer, or whatever else you can think of. Basically, we want the logo to to have a feminine and modern feel, but with something like the cameo incorporated into it to hint at the classical tradition of the 18th century salons, which is the inspiration for the site itself.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salon_(gathering)).
