Web Design Brief

We are looking for a design that expresses the friendly, open nature of our company Camera Crew Germany, yet at the same time is professional looking and functional.

Camera Crew Germany is a B2B focused operation that hires out multi-lingual camera crews (and equipment) throughout Germany and Europe. We also produce tv features and coporate films. Our unique selling point is that we are native English speakers who can communicate with our international clients (usually British or American) and organise the logistics of shooting in foreign countries.

For content inspiration, see our current website: http://www.cameracrewgermany.com - however we want to move away from the very simple structure of this site and move towards a layout that displays and allows for frequently updated content (e.g. in the form of a blog).

Please keep within the following specifications:
- We wish to keep our logo (grey/white, font: Glypha) and our company colour red (#C40A0A) as they are.
- Maximum Width 960px, on a large browser-window the design should be centred
- Easily readable font sizes with good contrast
- Provide your design in PSD file format
- Our logo should be graphically displayed in the top left of the header.
- The design should allow space for a video.
- The page should have a clearly recognisable end in the form of a footer.

The following menu items need to be clearly arranged so the viewer is not overwhelmed or confused:

Target Market(s)

Our target customers are males and females between 25 and 55 years (mostly British and American). More important than their demographic though, is their occupation - they are largely communication and design savvy individuals belonging to one of the following three categories: 1)Broadcasters (usually producers for example from the BBC or Discovery Channel seeking trustworthy, affordable crews for their foreign shoots).

2) Video Production Companies (seeking a trustworthy, affordable partner company to provide the crews for their own corporate clients).

3) Corporate Communications Specialists (seeking professional producers and crews to facilitate production of company videos or filming of events).
