Logo Design Brief
The food chain has a massive impact on the environment. For example, up to 30% of all greenhouse gas emissions are due to the food chain, at least 25% of the global fish stocks are overfished, and agriculture uses more than 90% of ever more scarce freshwater. greenlicious is a new non-profit devoted to reducing the environmental impact of food. Our first project aims at helping people to reduce the carbon-footprint of their food choices. We will do so by a) getting lots of renowned chefs and foodies on board to contribute delicious recipes, b) adding these recipes to a weekly food planning and shopping list tool, c) assigning a carbon-footprint to every recipe, making it easy for people to make more informed and sustainable food choices (this will be a world's first and integrates an enormous amount of scientific data). This tool will be available in multiple languages and greenlicious will make it freely accessibly to anyone anywhere.
You can help us in our mission to make food good again by creating a stand-out logo. Ideally, that logo would communicate the following: greenlicious celebrates enjoyment and sustainability. greenlicious is trustworthy, drawing upon up-to-date science and cutting-edge data analysis. greenlicious offers modern and highly user-friendly tools. greenlicious isn't just a brand: it is an open community of people that work together for more sustainability.
Please note: while greenlicious starts with a focus on climate-friendly food, our ambition is broader and we will cover other aspects of sustainability in the future - so do not reduce the logo design to carbon-footprinting.
Updates
In light of the first submissions, we thought it would be useful to clarify our ideas a bit more:

Dear designers,
we are happy to announce that we have now committed the payment.
also, we have just learned that there is a restaurant in malaysia that is called Greenlicious (www.greenlicious.com.my/home/). Please make sure that your proposals clearly differentiate our non-profit from this restaurant.
Thanks for your support! Daniel & Sven

Requirements
Must have
- The logo will be used in different contexts: on the web/ in apps, but also on print media such as letter heads, business cards, or brochures. As such, the logo should also yield itself to copying - that is, its luminosity should yield a clear contrast to a white background. The logo must be a vector graphic and we will need it as an .eps, .ai or .svg file.
The logo must contain the word "greenlicious" (or "Greenlicious").
In contrast to many recipe sites, we put a premium on aesthetics - this means that our web/app presence will be clean and advertisement free and our recipes will be accompanied by outstanding imagery. Our logo must fit with this broader vision.
Nice to have
- Ideally, we'd also like the word to be linked to a symbol. In that case, it would be desirable if the symbol could also be used on its own.
We really want something creative.
Should not have
- No clipart. No 'run-of-the-mill' logos
