The Company: Red Vireo

Help customers make informed financial choices

Through easy to use mobile applications that present complex financial calculations in a simple, elegant & layman-friendly manner.

The Brand

A Red (eyed) Vireo is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-eyed_Vireo

Concept came from 1. “small bird” loosely being the opposite of “big fish” (i.e. top-end of town, the big banks etc) and 2. social sharing of not so well known financial info/advice as in “a little bird told me”

In line with the above, the initial products that we are launching are calculator & what-if analysis tools to compare performance & cost of home loans & term-deposits. The tentative names of these products are Nest Builder & Nectar Collector.

Colour scheme we are after is Red, Orange, Grey but at the same time are open to any suggestions.

In addition it would be excellent if we can get a colour scheme to go with the brand that can be used for website/powerpoint slides etc.

Nice to have

• we have been toying with the idea of having a mascot/character as the logo, as it could be good for branding specially on social media but are not 100% sold on the idea. some designs that explore this further would be good
