Stationery Design Brief
SmallFishBig is a new venture offering an end-to-end communications and media relations service including strategy development, execution and evaluation; copy writing and editing; social and e- media management; leadership coaching, media training and more.
I require a fresh and lively corporate identity to mirror the ethos of the business.
I need a logo, business card (double-sided preferably), letterhead (for invoicing and client communications) and compliment slip. As a start-up, budget will be an ongoing consideration for me so, ideally, I would prefer a two-colour logo - although if you wow me with something more than that, I may have to throw caution to the wind!
The ethos behind my name is twofold; one, I have moved from being something of a "big fish in a small pond" (a director in a single company) to a small fish in the big pond of small businesses. Two, I may be a "small fish", but that doesn't mean I don't "fish big".
I am looking for a clean, simple design that will look good on a variety of mediums, big or small. The design should be young and fresh and make an immediate impact. I want the design to reflect the fact that I specialise in tailored, simple and effective communications.
Updates
Hi Designers,
First up, I would like to say a really big thank you to all of you for taking the time to submit some really fantastic designs for my new business. For the most part, the standard has been incredibly high, so you have not made my decision an easy one! That said, as is so often the case with these things, when the right design comes along, there is no other way to go. To that end, I have chosen a designer/ design and, together, we are making some final tweaks to a concept that I feel really nails the design brief and the ethos of my company.
Again, a big thank you to all of you. I'll be recommending DesignCrowd far and wide!
Best regards
Andrea
Designers, I have extended my project for a further seven days because the design I had chosen had to be withdrawn. I look forward to receiving some fresh new ideas!
Regards

Requirements
Nice to have
- The design/logo could include symbols and/or characters that double as imagery. For example: an upside down question mark (?) might look like a fishing line/hook and a flattened @ sign, might look like a pond...
Should not have
- The design should not use old-style serif fonts, but nor should it be "cartoony" in any way. No navy blue, grey or sombre corporate colours.
