Logo Design Brief

We need a logo to identify our brand of locally-sourced, organic spice blends. The logo needs to be simple because it will go on tiny labels. We would like something classic, maybe even old-timey or vintage looking, maybe like an apothecary.

We'd like to avoid anything cartoony, busy or too modern.
