Logo Design Brief

Home renovation business located in Maple, Ontario, Canada is looking for a logo. Our company physical location is tied with the company name: Maple leaf is the symbol of a city of Maple and Maple is part of Greater Toronto (GTA) who's symbol is maple as well.
Having said that, we do not want maple leaf appear too Canadian as our clients will be very malty-cultural. We want something modern but worm possibly with some humour and not very "official".
Please see attached .eps vector image idea we have. This leaf is almost maple and we like that. Please feel free to come up with something totally different but if you use our vector that should be good too.
Our current logo design is on the web site screenshot. Current logo has an obvious problems: font style, position and size is wrong. Please keep in mind that we use mainly blue and green theme on the site. Or Blue colour is Azure. Also we would love to have a line "Renovation Experts" on the logo if possible. Please see Jpeg image for sample.
