Logo Design Brief

Starting a new counseling agency called Turning Point Counseling Services. I see individuals, couples, groups regarding a range of issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, etc. I am looking for a logo design that is simple, elegant, unisex but symbolic. I like the image of a tree as it implies growth, change, healing, strength, etc. Tree would be preferred but I am not closed to the idea of an inspiring design that is not a tree.

I would like the name of the agency and the tag line to be somewhere on the logo. The tag line I am leaning towards is: Where growth begins.

I want the font to be easily readable. I want the design to be transferrable to a variety of marketing including website, business cards, paperwork, stationary, and signs. I need it to look good on something small like business cards but also something large like a sign. I need the colors to look good on the same marketing materials.

I am looking for soothing colors that are also crisp on any surface.

I have found that I like a variety of trees that I have searched online. I have also been intrigued by a few trees that I have seen online that seem to have an abstract shape of a person as the trunk. It goes well with the name, tag line, and idea of my business but is also not necessary as I have seen other trees that are more realistic that I have liked also.
