Logo Design Brief

We have a web based newsletter / community-of-practice website called ClaimHeader (the name of the top level data element for a healthcare claim).

There is an existing Logo. We’d like to redesign that logo. Key design criteria.

1) HAS to be different from our corporate logo as seen on www.datamethod.com.
2) We would like to keep the blue theme color in the logo, it does not have to be single color but that blue is totally different from the datamethod logo and we have used that blue for previous claimheader mailings and newsletters.
3) The logo will be used on www.claimheader.com as well as in mass mailings (snailmail) as well as email campaigns.
4) We are trying to build a best practice community for claims process and claim audit questions. (Wondering how many claims you should audit a month, go on claimheader.com and look). It’s a ‘community’ / social networking site. It would be nice if the logo had some component of that – but it does not have to.
5) A simple ‘wordmark’ logo is totally sufficient.
