Logo Design Brief
Our website is to offer luxury villa accomodation on the popular island Bali,Indonesia. to all age groups and individuals.
The design is to represent to us a relevance to the service we are selling.
We are wanting a simple yet elegant logo for our website. Nothing too overworked or busy.
We don't want designs of palm trees, beaches, flowers, or buddha's, as these are already saturated within the market. We are looking for something that is going to make us stand out from the crowd.
Some thoughts we have are of simple lines of an elegant paintbrush stroke, representing a modern style sun lounger, with a second stroke representing the back/shoulders/arm of a person lyng on top and perhaps a circle representing the head or a sun.
The colours we were thinking were along the lines of a fading of blues from darker to light,cyan bluies or turqouise, citrus greens and fushia pinks with an aqua/water illusion mix to it. We are wanting to see the designs against a black/charcoal background as this will be the website background colour.

Other possible colours could be fushcia pinks/maroons.
The logo width would also include our businessname Bali Villa Retreats directly underneath or to the side in a colour that will stand out against the black/charcoal background. A mixture of colours as above would be striking.
We are open to any other idea that may represent a similar concept or just let your creative flair flow with a sassy design of your own that is fresh/funky and smart.

Many apologies for any confusion re not taking anymore designs. We are DEFINITELY STILL OPEN for the desigh contest and WELCOME all new designs. We have only one contender to date, so are very keen to compare before the end date of the 3rd before we make our final decision. Thankyou to all who have submitted so far, much appreciated.
Additonal colour ideas, Cyan blue, Turqoiuse, fushia, maroon. We really like the idea of simple brush strokes. Please add you flair, but if we can ask that it is against a black/charcoal background with fonts in whites and greys and alternative colours above, so we can get an idea of visual. Thankyou.
We are wanting to negotiate a package deal with the winning design, for logo, business cards and stationary letter head. Please advise if you are happy to do this when you submit your design. Thankyou.
