Logo Design Brief
We need a new logo for our growing building contracting business.
We carry out building projects -small to large scale commercial, and domestic building reinstatement work for the clients of multi-national insurance companies, government departments and engineering firms i.e. if a roof of a school building gets damaged in a storm, we'll get contracted to repair it by the appropriate government body. If your kitchen is fire damaged, we'll be contracted to reinstate it by the insurance company. We carry out the work ourselves as well as project manage larger projects involving teams of sub-contractors. We also pick up private domestic building work usually through referrals.
We provide a friendly, responsive and solution-oriented service for our customers.
The logo design should reflect that of a robust, forward thinking, and professional company, not a local builder. We're small but we don't want to look small!

Must have
- As long as the logo is a modern, clean and polished design, this is what we are after and must look good in colour and when photocopied.
From here we will be reproducing this logo on business cards and letterheads as well as on a website, so it's important that the design style is able to be clearly printed onto paper/card mediums as well as being visible and clear online. Thanks!
Nice to have
- Am leaning towards an abstract logo with textual company name beside it but really am quite open.
We quite like logos that are a combination of two colours e.g. grey tone with a brighter colour, black with a brighter colour - that have a sophisticated, minimalistic look. However we are open to your ideas on this.
