Logo Design Brief
I just started a new Cycling club. I need to get a logo designed ASAP since I will be making up some cycling kits etc and need something exciting to grab peoples attention.
In terms of colors - I dont really have a preference as to how many are used, but our team kits will be bright colors so bare that in mind. It should be easy to tell who we are by not only our club colors but our logo.
I have registered a few URLs and the name can be used in multiple ways.

So club name is Velo Hammer, but Velo Hammer Cycling Club is also used. The logo should project the name obviously, but think fast, powerful, strong as words to describe the club riders.

What I like about that is the incorporation of the hammer into the bicycle's crank arm and front chainrings. It looks "fast" and "aggressive" which is what I am going for here.
Updates
Based on what I have seen so far I am thinking its probably best to leave the lettering of the club name out of the design. I would like something with a bit more detail and excitement to it.

It could say multiple things. I dont want the URL used for the logo, and ultimately dont want the actual club name to be the logo. Using the letter VHCC or VH are ok, but not sure how that would look. I will have to leave this up to the designers
