Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a logo for a new business called Createch Code. We will be providing classes for kids (and maybe adults in the future), ages K through 12 for now. The learning center/academy will teach students how how to code. Primarily a Computer Science academy, so the focus is all tech and computer programming. It is primarily a learning institute. The intent is to motivate parents (and kids) to start educating kids in computer programming.

We do not have any specific colors to use on the logo, so open to your imagination, but I'm thinking as a learning institute, I don't want it to be cold or dark colors like some corporate logos. We want a logo that incorporates both the company name and a mark/icon in some way. We would like for that mark/icon to eventually be used standalone in the future (the more we use it) and have people relate that to our company without the use of the full logo. Since it is a learning institute, I imagine maybe a mark/logo that will have some kind of figure or likeness of a person(s) or some cute creature of some kind. Not a shape or object, since it does not seem to have a 'personality'. I suppose like the DesignCrowd logo incorporates or suggests many people in the star design. However, we are still open to any suggestions or imagination you can come up with. Just keep in mind that this is a company teaching technology.
