Logo Design Brief

I have a currently logo that is outdated (attached) and needs to be completely reimagined. The company provides change consulting for individuals and companies and the logo needs to reflect the idea that you have two choices in life or business Advance or Die. The decisions you make every day determine your success or failure. We help people either individually or in companies identify the decisions and strategies necessary to move forward. I'm not looking for a stodgy corporate logo, I want something that moves people to action, that catches attention in a fast moving web search, that causes people to be inspired to be a part of a movement. I know content will do most of that but I want the logo to be a rallying point. It should look as good on a Blog as it does on a tshirt and evoke the same emotion.

I'm open to colors, the colors should invoke the idea of decisiveness, action, motivation, and progression. To me that could be reds, greens, black. It could include reversed type if appropriate.

The logo can be fonts only but I'm not looking for a standard font palate, it needs to be very different than that. A graphic image is also great but should not be cheap clip art.

The final design must communicate the idea of decision, strategy, movement and choice. The logo will need to be provided in .jpeg and .eps files at minimum and will need to be provided in a number of scaled sizes (3-5). Also, the logo should look very presentable in B&W as well as color.
