Hello Paul,

Thanks for the invitation. However, it would be helpful to have the guaranteed payment for the winner.. this way, more designers will be prompted to participate and you will have a good number of concepts to choose from.

Bailee

Hi all,

The reason I didn''t go for the guarantee is that I haven''t tried the service before and don''t know the quality and eager of the community. Also I was unsure if my requirements was too complicated to succeed.

If some of you can somehow convince me that this is a challenge you''ll likely nail then I''ll commit for guaranteed payment. I''m not doing this for fun and I haven''t posted my request anywhere else.

Maybe you could show me examples of similar ambitious logos you have done in the past. It was overwhelming for me to look through all the samples in here.

If you guarantee a payment you won't have to select a winning logo. There is a lot of unique and creative designers on this website. If you do not guarantee a payment none of them will enter any submissions. Why put in all the hard work if you just get ripped off in the end? I've already started working on a logo for you and it's coming a long better than I had hoped. If you would please guarantee a payment I would definitely submit you an image.

Haha, some people here are so convincing... :P

I'd be happy to do a logo, but the link you posted doesn't seem to work. Could you upload an image of the style you're looking for?

As an example, did you want something fun/commercial like this: http://www.designcrowd.com/design/849665/logo-design-by-white

Or more something more conservative?

From a designer's point of view, I do understand the the whole 'please guarantee the project' but at the same time, I do understand why one would be wary of guaranteeing something that might not turn out the way they want. You said that if you see something, you'll guarantee, so I'll take you on that...

When you've uploaded an image, or reset that link, I can begin work...

Cheers,

Simon

Hi Simon,

Thanks for your input. If you can craft a logo in the same pen style as this on I found in your portfolio then you are on the right track: http://www.designcrowd.com/design/849658/logo-design-by-white.

I am sorry that my link for some reason is not working any more. Here is another example: http://www.goodlogo.com/images/logos/queen_logo_3009.gif. It's not the exact style but more the composition and crest concept it should illustrate.

I just checked the other links and they seem to be still working.

I would love to see a proposal from you. Thanks :-)

Simon: One more note - your example with the bull is also interesting. I think I might like it a bit more crest traditional but if all the elements can work in a more simplistic and moderne crest like that then it's definitely interesting. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I understand your concerns about guaranteed payment. It's a catch 22. I have zero experience in this service and so far I got three submissions of which only one even tried to accommodate the brief requirements. And I wasn't all that impressed with the result although I do appreciate the submission and have provided constructive feedback.

But I am still unsure if DesignCrowd is the way to go for me or not and therefore reluctant to guarantee. But as I said and as Simon said he'll take my word on: If something good comes in I'll pay for it for sure. I am not spending time on this for fun - I do need a solution to my logo :-)

I hope you'll give it a try if you think you have something to offer - thanks.

I understand your concerns. I respect your decision, I didn't notice that you had prepaid either. I'll submit something I think you'd like a lot.
