Web Design Brief

Woo Who Network aka www.HispanicBusiness.TV is a dynamic new entrant in the the Hispanic internet small business solutions and services marketplace, through - engaging easy to use start-up business solutions.

Hispanic Business TV will feature a local online production of a weekly lifestyle show surrounded around community interest. Video news, business, Fashion and food channels and other topics around the Hispanic lifestyle trends in local Colorado area and across the US.

HBTV also provides budding Hispanic entrepreneurs a one stop shopping spot, providing access, participation and guidance including coaching, that may have been unattainable in the past, due to U.S job market shortages. For those Hispanics who want to to move into the business world and attain an improved and better quality of life.

To established sme's including e-commerce businesses and traditional retailers, HBTV will provide a platform from which to leverage Hispanic market share and brand positioning. Content on this site will also attract and engage Businesses, CEO's and budding entrepreneurs.

Objective of this web portal: Hispanic Business TV will build a unique internet portal site, like no other and combind this with unique products and services that will guide both businesses and consumers to the site. This internet portal will be the the first point of contact for all those engaging in Hispanic Business TV and will be the point from which users start to interact with the portal. Ideally, this will be the first point from which Hispanics in the US start all internet activity.


Design Needs (Please note this is design only, Coding/development to be done by someone else):

I will be using a Wordpress CMS so please keep this in mind.

I'll be needing design for the following 4 main pages and the 5 "templates" below. I have attached the Logo to work with. Please note the font used in the circles can be customised if you think there is a better choice.

Web Portal must have
1) Customised Home Page (creative & Original layouts PLEASE!!!
2) Customised Marketplace page (This page highlights all the products and services on offer through the site)
3) Customised Entertainment and Dining Page (with a fashionable and funky icon. This page will drive high traffic)
4)A Community Upload Page - This will be user generated content, you could potentially use the circles of the logo to mark video content (there is also potential to use one or more of the coloured circles with a little video camera beside it)

Template layouts for 5 other following pages.

5 other pages include -

News Channel, Health and Lifestyle, Fashion, Food and Recipes and Daily Deals (This could be a plugin but I'd probably still want it customised).

Target Market(s)

25- 49 year old U.S Hispanics and those in business. Hispanic communities usage rates of Smartphones, Television, Online Video and Social networking and other forms of entertainment make this group one of todays most engaged populations in todays digital space. Following Trends of this group mean that according to Neilsen reasecrh this group send 941 txt msgs a month, more then any other ethnic group and are 25% more likely to follow a brand and 18% more likely to follow a celebrity then any other online group.

• Must have a corporate, Tech savvy design feel (not over the top). This is a professional, but hip and fashionable site.
  White Background
  The ability to fit RSS video Feeds
  Entertainment and Dining page must have radio box or a cool icon to customize it as fashionable entertainment page, as this page will land majority traffic.

• Experiment with the text color in slogan line, & font style in circles of logo.

  6/27 Update,
  I uploaded a image of slider I like at univision.com (video tab,check it out)I love the functionality of it-this is hm pg screen we need wow factor!, I need banners on each side if possible or a creative way to find some banner ad space. I also uploaded HBTV Logo B Colors file try using the 1st image at top of page, need to see examples with this logo as well!
