Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my new Auto Electricial company.
The company is called Shining Star Auto Electrics. I would like a Black backgrond or a logo that would look good on a black background. I'm thinking a silver colour for the writing or picture(which could be a star, maybe something like a multimeter). My target market is mainly Truck and bus work so a strong design may be better.
