I need a logo/branding (and will be need many other services/designs) in the future for a professional health consulting business I'm starting online. I work in Dallas, TX and will starting a very professional, content rich blog to bring traffic to my website. I will begin offering e-Books and video courses, and eventually, the premier product being high end, private, retainer coaching to busy professionals.
The demographic I hope to bring to this site will be largely professional, successful males in the business world. This includes to trendy, hotshot 20-something who wants a beach body/to impress the ladies as well as the 50 year old executive who just wants to get healthy, manage stress, and live a healthy life with his family.
I obviously want a brand that is professional and not silly, goofy or cheesy, but I definitely don't want a boring/straightlaced design. I think of a design that is charming and full of professional personality while still being professional and fairly simple. I'm a young guy and so I'd like a brand that still portrays that fact.
A random thing I've thought about is having a logo that harkens back to the style of a whisky bottle label (think Jim Bean Whisky), obviously without going overboard on that theme. That's just an example of a style that is "charming", definitely masculine, yet still professional and a bit refined.
Colors: I've been thinking about the primary colors being a light tan/beige and a dark slate grey. Maybe one more colorful accent color? These colors aren't set in stone, but they seem masculine and I think they are a great start.
A do NOT want any sort of emblem, or abstract logo - text only please.
If it helps at all, here is the Wordpress theme I'll be starting off with: http://designarethemes.com/theme/?theme=bloom
I'll likely ask this winner of this project to help design future website components, newsletters, brochures, business cards etc. As an added incentive, I'll also give the winner some free guidance/advice/consultation to help them start working towards their own fitness goals (losing fat, gaining muscle, getting healthy, etc.). Hopefully that might add some value to this project since my budget is a bit smaller.
I hope to start a strong professional relationship with someone so that we can continue working on projects as my business and my brand grows. Thanks!

Requirements
Must have
- "Jay Howard" should be the big, primary part of the logo, with the word "fitness" a bit less bold.
Nice to have
- I tend to like the idea of the words "Jay Howard" being bigger, placed atop the smaller word "fitness". But I'm not a design guy, so I'd definitely be open to other structures.
Should not have
- I'd rather not have an "abstract" logo anywhere on the logo (like the nike swoosh) - text only please.
