Logo Design Brief

I am purchasing an existing equine clinic and adding my client base to it. The previous owner was a bit behind the times, so I am looking for something to easily brand us. We do alot of horse reproductive work, so mares with foals...however there are a ton of designs out there and I want to be different. This logo will be used for letterhead, clothing and a sign. I have a logo that I think was done by this website for my existing practice (Gallatin Veterinary Services) Thanks,
