Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo design for our company called OBX Computing Corp. OBX has two meanings to us. We are a North Carolina HQ and OBX is world famous as the Outer Banks here in NC. We also have a computing platform that is not done in "boxes" meaning not done in servers or laptops etc. the hardware is attached to LED lights. SO our tag line is "computing outside the box" OBXCC. So OBX must be in the logo but we also need to watch out for the copyright police so we will need to incorporate CC or cloud computing somewhere in it. We need to transform our logo to represent the fact that we are a cloud computing services company but still maintain the attachment to lighting, green technology, energy efficiency. Our logo needs to be hip, stand alone on its own without a tag line and also represent a successful image to the reader. Our current logo is great but too many first impressions are that we build light bulbs. Logo6306716 is our current logo and it is attached. Luminate C is our first name and it represents Cloud Computing rather obviously.
LETS TRY AND FOCUS ON OBX AND CLOUD COMPUTING. THE CC PORTION IS NECESSARY FOR COPYRIGHT PROTECTION DUE TO OBX BEING USED ALREADY. THEREFORE CAN WE LOOK AT IDEAS THAT SHRINK THE CC TO ALMOST NONE EXISTENCE BUT THERE SO WE CAN REGISTER THE WORK THANKS!
