Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for SIAA, a trade association base in Singapore. Something which is modern and reflect what we do. Combining our mission in automation coupled with alliances are the key 2 things.

Some pointers to include in the logo -

Information Automation (IoT)
This involves solutions and products which aim to improve enterprise productivity through the elimination or reduction of manual data-collection. IoT connects people to processes via smart sensors, and provides real-time information to mobile intelligent systems through the Internet infrastructure. This will help drive our economy into a knowledge base economy and revolutionize the future enterprises. This basically involves sensor, data transmission, wireles/mobile network.

Industrial automation
This deals primarily with the automation and mechanization of manufacturing, quality control and material handling processes.

Global alliances, international partnership
SIAA represents the automation industry in Singapore, we are constantly looking to form alliance and partnership with related associations or organizations overseas to foster working relationship which mutually benefit members of both geographies.

• Include the acronym “SIAA”.
• Feature maximum of 2 colours.
• Cater for mono-chrome printing.
• 2 different layouts (such as for letter-head and namecard use)

Profile of Singapore Industrial Automation Association (SIAA)
SIAA is the vanguard of the automation movement since 1982 and is a professional trade association that facilitates and forms strategic alliances to build business communities through Internet-of-Things (IoT) & Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies. Since 2006, SIAA has been actively promoting the use of M2M Technologies to improve productivity and competitiveness. As the vanguard of Automation since 1982, SIAA has today become the defacto catalyst to drive the accelerating of applications in the IoT. SIAA acts as the ambassador for the Automation Industry to supports and implements the recommendations spearheaded by government agencies relating to industrial automation initiatives. We promote automation technologies and business in Singapore and the region, helping Singapore companies to internationalize overseas. At the sametime, we aim to foster industry collaboration through formation of Special Interest Groups. This provides a platform for IoT evangelists to discuss deployment issues, and enhance IoT knowledge amongst industry players . The ultimate aim is to promote productivity & business process innovation through IoT and M2M solutions.
