Bag and Tote Design Brief

New Uses, an upscale resale home goods store, is looking for an eye catching, modern, and appealing design for our plastic shopping bags used at our retail stores nationwide. (visit www.newuses.com for more info)

The current design as well as a start with our new logo is attached. We are looking to have you make the one that has been started look cooler and fun with a better flowing layout, and an earthy / green modern feel, that appeals to women 30-52. Make sure to include our logo, our website (www.newuses.com), the list of things we buy and sell, and whatever else we can fit attractively in your design.

Details:
Bag size is 14x21 with approximately 3" of safe zone on top edge and at least 1" around other edges is required (larger bag with same aspect will also be produced). Bag color is white. Imprint quality is pretty detailed but features with lines less than 1/16" white in between may bleed together so please take that into consideration (see existing art it is pretty detailed and printed okay). Please see attached file to see starting point or use as template.

NOTE: if you have a great idea that requires 2 colors that may be acceptable as well (production cost Is higher for us however may be worth it if design is good)

  Vector Artwork.
  Must have website address & logo.
  LOGO CANNOT BE MODIFIED I.E NEW USES TEXT INSIDE OF HOUSE SHAPE. (OR IF USE HANGING HOUSE VERSION IT CANNOT BE MODIFIED)
  Environmental/Green Subtle connotation / elements
  Must submit file in Adobe Illustrator and EPS 8 format.

Nice to have

• Attempting to include as much marketinmessage as possible where it still looks professional and has good eye appeal.
  
  Would drop e-mail and facebook messages if design looked good.

Should not have

• Hard to read fonts.
