Hi. Very interesting project.
So what's needed is one general layout for the front and 4 variations for the back of the card? Do you already have the game logo and the icons for card types?

Hi Raphael,

Great questions - thanks!

We are mostly after one general layout for the cards. The design of the back is a bonus. For the back we were thinking of having the logo plus tag line plus a unique vector-based background to distinguish the card types. We will come up with something fairly straight-forward, but your ideas are appreciated!

We do have a logo we are happy with but would love some good icon ideas.

Thanks,

James.

Thank you for your invite.

Are you able to upload a logo?

Best Wishes

Robert

Hi Robert,

Thanks for asking! I uploaded an initial logo to the set of files for the project. It is not vectorized at this point (just PNG and scanned in at that), but we plan to vectorize in the near future.

We also have some ideas on the name and have a basic look all set, but not quite ready to upload that as we are still playing.

Thanks for the consideration!

James.

Raphael asked for some sample card content. Here is some example wording:

Card Name: SWING

Requirement: None
Optional Cost: Any attack card or any 2 cards for +1 damage; or additional SWING card for +2

Effect: SWING damage

The Requirement and Optional Cost would be in instructional area #1, and the Effect (which can be a lot longer than above) is in instructional area #2.

Hi there, great project! I was wondering if your new card game had a name. Thanks!

Hi Julie,

Great question - we do have a couple of names in mind, but not really quite ready to share at this point. It will likely be a slightly-modified, made-up version of a familiar term when we are done, but haven't settled on one just yet.

James.

Hi James. I submitted a design concept for your card game. I forgot to mention in the description that all the elements are interchangeable, including the shape of the card and that I can provide source files in either print ready photoshop (CMYK) or vector at your request.

Cheers,
Julie
