Logo Design Brief

New logo for a new custom Jeep and truck shop located close to Memphis, TN, USA. The shop will specialize in high end custom vehicle design, fabrication, and parts installation. Please see www.spyderoffroad.com/projects for examples of our vehicles. I owned Spyder Offroad for 2 years but now I'm opening a new shop called Genesis Offroad.

The logo should be clean and simple, and I am thinking about using a lion head for the logo as a symbol of strength, quality, and a tough, top of the food chain look. The lion shape should be minimalist, easy to cut out of steel so the logo can be cut on custom parts such as bumpers. Here's an example of a logo cut out of a bumper -

The logo should also work well as a sticker for the side of a Jeep or across the top of a windshield, or stitched into auto upholstery such as seat headrests as seen in this gallery -

Also in that gallery is a good example of a windshield banner sticker that gives a feel of a premium brand name.

I'm open to ideas to play off the lion theme. Perhaps a claw mark for the letter 'i' in Genesis, or whatever else you come up with.

Requirements

Must have

• Must work as a sticker for a Jeep windshield.
  Any character shape such as a lion should be free standing so it can be used to represent the brand name without the words Genesis Offroad.

Should not have

• No goofy fonts. Anything related to the lion should not look like a high school mascot.
