Logo Design Brief
We are interested in one, possibly two logos. We are interested in a re-imaging of our current logo design that will modernize the woolly mammoth named "PD" (stands for Prevention Dimensions) for our K-3rd grade curriculum. We are not committed to the same colors but it should appeal to a younger audience and incorporate a mammoth in some way. The new logo would be used to inspire new illustrations for the entire curriculum (75 + illustrations). The winning designer would have an edge in the forthcoming competition for that significant project if they are interested in illustration work as well. There is a possibility we would forgo a competition and choose to work exclusively with the winner if we can come to an agreement.
We are also interested in the possibility of a more edgy, sleek design that will appeal to grades 4-12 and emphasize the words, "Prevention Dimensions" and also include a more sleek mammoth.
Both designs need to include the word or shape of "Utah" as part of the design.
A possible tag line that could be incorporated in either logo is "I care for myself, others, and the community" or a simpler form of that.
We will pay $200 per winning design if we choose one of each style.

Thank you for your submission to our design project. Our state committee will be meeting on July 2nd. While we may reach a decision then, I cannot promise one.
