Illustration Design Brief
Sketch-style illustrations are requested, based on the attached photographs. The sketches will be displayed on a password-protected website for a patient support group. The purpose will be to instruct participants how to pose in photographs which will then be submitted to doctors who work with the support group. Patients with this disorder have a subtle different physical appearance which as necessary in the instructions for the sketches below.
In general, the sketches do not need to be overly detailed, and do not need to reflect the features of the model. Hair should be kept off the shoulders, if possible, so shorter haircuts or ponytails on females are preferred. Sketches are preferred in black/white, greyscale, or neutral tones. Specific instructions are as follows:
- Back full body sketch - Female; should wear shorts; should wear athletic/sports bra top so the waist is exposed; waist should be thick (not muscular);legs should be somewhat muscular but not heavy.
- Back upper body sketch - Female; should wear shorts; should wear athletic/sports bra top so the waist is exposed; waist should be thick (not muscular); arms should be somewhat muscular.
- Front upper body female sketch - Female; should capture mouth to waist; neck should be thick; should wear athletic/sports bra top so the waist is exposed; waist should be thick (not muscular); arms should be somewhat muscular.
- Front upper body male sketch - Male; should not wear a shirt; should capture mouth to waist; neck should be thick; waist should be thick (not muscular); arms should be somewhat muscular.
- Lower body stance sketch - Gender neutral; should wear shorts; Should capture hips to toes; Calves and thighs should be somewhat muscular but not heavy.
