Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design to be used on cards, brochures, and on a truck.
We make Wrought iron style gates. I would like the logo to convey the impression of traditional, solid hand crafted gates.
I would like the colours and basic design to convey a modern look with a solid Traditional flavour.
Attached are some designs I like, preferring the gold brown colour theme. (the golden Gate hotel and casino sign attached)
The main use would be on a white truck.
