Packaging Design Brief

We are WeddingBingo, and we are developing a modern wedding party game that combines traditional bingo with scratch-off cards and fun action cards. The game brings wedding guests together, creates unexpected moments and turns a wedding celebration into a party. Our German tagline is “Bingo with consequences.”, meaning “Bingo with consequences.”

We are looking for a designer to develop our existing visual concept into a professional, fully realized, print-ready packaging design. The packaging dimensions are 21 × 21 × 7 cm.

The attached image is an AI-generated design concept. It clearly illustrates our desired direction: bold, cheeky, energetic and full of party atmosphere. We particularly like the combination of vibrant pink, bright yellow, black and white, the prominent branding, the playful wedding couple and the dynamic graphic elements.

This impact should be preserved. However, the reference should not simply be placed onto the packaging as a flattened image. We need a professionally constructed design with individually editable elements, clean typography, high-quality imagery and a carefully considered layout. Details can be improved as long as the character and strong visual impact of the concept are maintained. Our existing logo will be supplied and should be integrated into the design.

The front should immediately attract attention and work equally well as a small product thumbnail in an online shop. It must be immediately clear that this is an entertaining wedding party game. The sequence “Scratch off → Bingo! → Draw an action card” should be communicated through clear icons and short text.

We need the entire packaging designed, including the front, back and all side panels, covering all visible surfaces of the lid and base. The back should explain the game clearly and provide space for the contents, product information, barcode, website and manufacturer details. Final copy and product information will be agreed upon during the project.

All panels should work together as one consistent brand presentation. WeddingBingo should also be recognizable when displayed sideways on a retail shelf. Text must remain editable so that additional language versions can be created later.

We expect a complete, production-ready packaging design, including editable source files, all graphic assets, print-ready files and realistic product mockups. The final artwork must be prepared using the manufacturer's final dieline. Please include all work required to achieve this in your proposal and clearly itemize the deliverables.

Must have

• Packaging dimensions: 21 × 21 × 7 cm. Complete design of all packaging surfaces. Integration of the existing WeddingBingo logo. German tagline: “Bingo with consequences.” Visual direction closely aligned with the attached AI concept. Vibrant pink, bright yellow, black and white. An eye-catching front with a clear visual hierarchy and readable typography. A high-quality image of a playful, energetic wedding couple as the central visual, in line with the reference. Game instructions illustrated with icons: “Scratch off → Bingo! → Draw an action card”. For the initial German packaging, use: “Scratch → Bingo! → Draw action card”. A carefully designed back panel with a game description and space for final product information. Individually editable text, images and graphic elements. Print-ready PDF files prepared to the manufacturer's specifications, including bleed and safe margins. Fully editable source files and all linked image assets. Details of the fonts and image sources used, including any required commercial licenses. Realistic mockups showing the front, back and side views.

Nice to have

• Coordinated details such as hearts, a disco ball, paint splashes, brush strokes and small party icons. Suggestions for print finishes that enhance the design, such as spot UV varnish or fluorescent spot colors. Please specify these effects separately and also provide a version that works without additional print finishes.

Should not have

• No traditional, overly romantic or clichéd wedding aesthetic. No pastel color scheme, childish cartoon style or dull, generic board-game packaging. No cluttered layouts that compromise readability. No visible AI errors in faces, hands or other details. No pixelated images or simply upscaled screenshots. No additional advertising claims or product statements without prior agreement.
