We need a logo design for a small company based in Vancouver WA called Timeline Followback LLC. The Timeline Followback (TLFB) is a method that can be used as a clinical and research tool to obtain a variety of quantitative estimates of alcohol, marijuana, cigarette, coffee, and other drug use. The TLFB© is copyrighted and was developed over 50 years ago by Drs. Linda and Mark Sobell. It has been published in English and many other languages, and used in thousands of studies around the world. It is recommended by the FDA, NIAA, and NIDA and in recent years it has been referred to as the "gold standard" for assessing alcohol and drug use (Witkiewitz et al., 2015). You can see our current website here (https://www.nova.edu/guided-self-change/documents/timeline-followback-forms.html) for more information, but do not feel tied to that site's design/look at all. We are planning to launch our own website and rebrand, starting with a logo. The final design should appeal to our primary clients: academic researchers and pharmaceutical companies. It should communicate professionalism, excellence, and reliability. The final design should also have a connection to what the tool is - a calendar used to capture substance use behaviors (e.g., patients record the number of drinks they have consumed on each day of the calendar). While the tool can certainly be used in studies aiming to improve health outcomes, we want the logo to focus on projecting the tool to customers as a gold standard tool for measurement of behaviors (and less as a symbol of wellness) with decades of peer reviewed evidence to document it's reliability and validity.

Requirements
Must have
- This subtext: The "gold standard" for assessing self-reported substance use. Some sort of calendar icon as part of the logo would also be ideal.
Nice to have
- I said let the designer choose colors, but def interested in seeing some mock ups in blue with the gold standard text in gold (looks like yellowish orange tones from the colors shown below). Open to other suggestions for colors that fit the brief though.
Should not have
- I included an AI generated example that I played around with a bit. Please DO NOT feel you must stick to any of what is shown there (unless you think they are helpful). I just wanted to illustrate some of the ideas I am trying to convey in terms of the calendar (which looks a little wonky in the AI logo) and colors. Also the subtext in that design is incorrect. Use what I have listed here.
