Car Wrap Design Brief

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced graphic designer to develop a visually striking, premium van wrap design for a drone-based cleaning business.

The vehicle will act primarily as a mobile demonstration unit, showcasing cutting-edge drone cleaning solutions across multiple industries including wind turbines, warehouses, building façades, and solar farms.

The design must communicate innovation, efficiency, and industrial capability, while remaining clean, modern, and highly professional.

CORE CHALLENGE (Key Requirement)
This project requires a flexible dual-branding solution.
The van will operate under two brands:
- Primary (Demo Mode): CleaningByDrone.com (no logo yet)
- Secondary (Commercial Work): The Bionic Eye

The design must allow branding to be switched using magnetic overlay panels therefore consideration for van panels (Renault Master L4H3).

This means:
- The base wrap should be visually complete without relying on fixed branding in key areas
- Specific zones must be designed where magnetic panels can be applied seamlessly
- The switch between brands must look intentional and premium, not like an afterthought

Designers must account for this modular branding approach from the outset.

DESIGN OBJECTIVES
The wrap should:
- Look high-end and technologically advanced
- Clearly communicate drone-based cleaning solutions
- Showcase multiple use cases visually:
- Wind turbines
- Industrial warehouses
- Building façades
- Solar panels
- Feel dynamic and eye-catching even at distance
- Avoid clutter while still telling a strong visual story
- Work across all van surfaces (sides, rear, bonnet if applicable)

STYLE DIRECTION
We are aiming for:
- Clean, modern, and bold
- Industrial + tech aesthetic
- Subtle gradients, depth, and motion where appropriate
- Strong visual hierarchy
- Minimal but impactful text

Avoid:
- Overly busy layouts
- Clip-art style graphics
- Low-end “signage” look
Think premium fleet branding rather than standard van graphics.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Design must include clearly defined zones for magnetic overlays
- Branding areas should be easy to swap without disrupting the overall design
- Consider how logos, taglines, and contact details will adapt between brands
- Ensure readability at distance and in motion
- Must be print-ready for professional vehicle wrapping

DELIVERABLES
- Full van wrap design (all sides, rear, optional bonnet)
- Layered source files (Adobe Illustrator preferred)
- Print-ready files with correct dimensions and bleed
- Visual mockups (realistic render of van we can supply a 3D Model of van)
- Clear indication of magnetic overlay zones
