Project Brief: Cycle Benefits Logo Design
We are building a modern life insurance and benefits company called Cycle Benefits — inspired by both the cycle of life and forward motion (our founder is an avid cyclist).
We’re looking for a clean, memorable, and ownable logo that feels:
• Tech-forward
• Trustworthy
• Modern, not traditional insurance
• Emotionally grounded in family, future, and financial security
Design Direction (Important)
We are especially drawn to concepts that incorporate:
• Infinity loop / continuous motion (longevity, legacy, ongoing protection)
• Circular or flowing systems that feel like movement over time
• Depth and dimension created through a series of lines (not solid shapes)
• Use of negative (white) space to subtly reveal meaning
A strong reference for style and execution is the Primo Water logo — specifically how:
• The shape is formed by a system of lines
• Depth is created through variation in line weight, spacing, and color
• The center white space forms a recognizable but subtle shape
We want to apply this same principle — but instead of a water droplet, use the negative space to hint at themes like protection, life, family, or longevity (keep this abstract, not literal).
Color direction should remain premium and intentional. We are open to:
• Navy + gold (trusted, financial, legacy)
• Navy + teal / blue gradients (modern, tech-forward)
⚠️ Avoid anything that feels:
• Generic / stock
• Overly corporate or outdated
• Too literal (no cliché insurance icons or obvious people illustrations)
Creative Freedom
We want designers to push beyond the obvious.
Don’t just create a symbol — think:
• How can motion feel alive through structure?
• How can a system of lines create something ownable?
• How can white space tell a subtle story?
Brand Feeling
This brand should feel like:
A trusted financial guide for modern families — blending technology, simplicity, and long-term thinking.
Think:
• Apple meets financial services
• Clean, confident, and quietly powerful
Final Goal
Create a logo that:
• Stands out in a sea of boring insurance brands
• Feels premium, modern, and scalable across mobile, video, and print
• Uses motion, depth, and negative space in a unique, recognizable way
