Logo Design Brief

PluckShot is a desktop app that lets you select any region of your screen, sends it to an AI vision model, and instantly extracts or analyzes the text/code. Think of it as "plucking" content right off your screen.

I need a logo mark that serves as the core brand identity for PluckShot — it will be used across the app icon, website, marketing materials, and system tray. The logo should work in single color (monochrome) and full color, and be recognizable at both small (32px) and large
sizes.

The logo must work on both dark and light backgrounds, as the app supports both dark and light modes.

Color preference is blue (#4A9EFF) on dark backgrounds, but I'm open to the designer's judgment.

Some early concepts we explored (attached as reference — not requirements):
- A stylized "P" that doubles as a screen-capture selection bracket
- A hand/fingers in a "plucking" gesture, extracting content from a screen

Feel free to go in a completely different direction. The name "pluck" suggests grabbing, extracting, picking something out — play with that however you'd like.

Please avoid anything that resembles Photoshop (PS) or Pandora (P) branding, and keep the style flat/geometric/iconic rather than realistic or 3D.

Target Market(s)

nyone who captures content from their screen — developers extracting code, students grabbing lecture notes, professionals pulling text from presentations, people saving recipes or tutorials from videos. Broad consumer and professional audience.
