Logo Design Brief

About the Company:
Pacific Home Maintenance is a California-based residential property maintenance company. We provide expert repair and upkeep services for luxury single-family homes along the Pacific Coast, in California, Oregon, and Washington. Our brand values are reliability, professionalism, and care, helping homeowners protect and enhance their most valuable asset.

Design Inspiration and Ideas:
We want a logo that feels modern, professional, and immediately recognizable as a maintenance and repair company. It should balance the idea of home with a strong connection to the Pacific Ocean.

We’ve explored these visual directions internally and would like designers to use them as inspiration:

Home silhouette + ocean wave - a clean, minimalist house outline with a wave forming the foundation or wrapping beneath it.

Pacific influence – bold green or navy blue or coastal tones to capture the ocean’s strength and trustworthiness.

Typography – “PACIFIC” in a bold, modern architectural font, with “HOME MAINTENANCE” and optionally the tagline “Expert Home Repair and Maintenance” beneath it. Typography should feel strong, premium, and timeless, not playful.

What We’re Looking For:
A logo that is clean, bold, and simple enough to scale across digital and print media (website, uniforms, vehicle wraps, signage, and invoices).

Icon + wordmark combination (house + wave graphic with company name).

Must work well in one color (dark green or navy blue shades preferred), with a white background version and a black-and-white version. I also like gradient color designs.

What to Avoid:
No trees, skylines, or overly detailed illustrations.
No crossed tools or symbols that resemble skull and crossbones. However, a symbol to represent Repairs or Maintenance is needed.

No cartoonish or overly playful designs. We must appeal to owners of expensive, highly-desirable homes, in prestigious locations. Our van parked in front of their home with our logo displayed prominently in the vehicle wrap, should fit in perfectly with the expensive neighborhood and capture the curiosity of our client's neighbors.
