Logo Design Brief

I've been given the task of creating a new logo for a beauty salon called "Salt and Light." In the words of the person requesting the new logo, without any direction on this, "to move it from a B logo to an A logo". Feel free to rethink the logo entirely OR enhance it to make it better in any way. Current "B-" logo attached for reference.

Because I was given no guidance for you on what we're looking for here, I cannot provide look and feel directions on colors or style, sorry! Good luck and thank you in advance!
