Logo Design Brief

Design a logo for a book publishing company called 'Aletheion Press'.
Aletheion derives from Aletheia, which means truth revealed or unconcealed (also the Greek goddess of Truth). Aletheion connotes a place where (human) truths are revealed through stories.
I had in mind to use a sketch of my Malinois (see image attached), who happens to be called Aletheia :) But I'm open to other ideas.
The logo will appear on the copyright page and on the spine of books, so it (or a version of it) needs to be compact.
