Logo Design Brief

I need some help with some inspiration for our new company logo design. I have attached our old logo. Many have said they like the colouring of our logo, we also use it on a navy background with White text where the black is, which looks effective. So I'm not sure if we will stick to these colours or go something a bit more generic for livestock and health related. Looking for some ideas. LivestockIQ is the new company name with tagline "Advanced Animal Nutrition". I'm looking for something that is modern, it doesn't necessarily have to reflect livestock. We are a liquid supplement company so maybe incorporate something liquid or drop or leave that out and get a little more advanced with something different for the IQ then just a standard font, so it doesn't necessarily have an individual logo icon as such. Sorry not much help but just looking for some other ideas. I am a graphic designer myself but running into some design blockages with this, I have been exploring stock image websites like istock but I want something a little more creative then just getting a logo icon from a stock image supplier.
