Logo Design Brief

We need someone to update our logo for our company based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD called 'Mallee Group'. We provide professional advice to a wide range of clients, from big scale developers wanting to build a high-rise apartment, to schools looking to expand and farmers looking to build accommodation for their workers.
We want the new logo to keep the same concept as our existing logo but we need to modify/ simplify it to be able to get it embroidered onto uniforms. The colours should be an earth-tone, brown/green and its needs to include tree roots. We would like to see a different font to the original. Something that shows a bit more quirk or interest, still looking professional though).
The final design should communicate our company having strong roots that are able to grow with you.
