Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo design for a new apparel company "Next Up Athletics" with the focus being on Next Up. We are designing hats and shirts that should appeal to athletes that aspire to be the best they can be. A saying you hear constantly in the sports world is "Next Man Up". We want to make gear that will represent those that have worked hard and are ready to rise to the occasion. Problem is I don't really have a design direction. I have been exploring things like mountain tops to symbolize reaching your peak. Also different types of ways to give an upward characteristic to the words "next up". I may even like a monogram.
I would like to see your creative designs. Eventually the goal would be to branch off to the different sports. Next Up Basketball, or Golf etc..

• Interested in mongrams using the letters N and U with some sort of element that appeals to athletes who have worked hard to be the best they can be. Giving the feel of power, speed and accomplishment being at the peak of their ability.

• Font that resembles script
