1. Project Overview
Mammutmarsch is commissioning new medal designs for the 2026 event season. Our medals are a key part of the participant experience and must reflect the premium quality and endurance spirit of our brand.
The design should build on our tradition of using a combination of metal and wood while leaving space for event-specific customization.
2. Design Goals
• Create a striking and premium medal design that participants will value as a symbol of achievement.
• Reflect Mammutmarsch's brand identity (CI) and endurance ethos.
• Ensure flexibility for different distances and event-specific information.
• Continue the use of metal + wood combination, updated with a fresh and modern look for 2026.
3. Core Requirements
3.1 Base Design
• Material mix: Combination of metal and wood (preferred).
• Core style: Strong, durable, adventurous, premium.
• Shape/Format: Open to designer proposals.
3. 2 Differentiation
• Distances: Each distance has a distinct color element (eg, ribbon, detail accent).
• Event-specific info: Each medal must include unique details (eg, event name, year, location).
• Consistency: All variations must clearly belong to the same medal family.
3.3 Branding
• Logo: Mammutmarsch logo must be included.
• Corporate Identity: Design must align with brand colors, fonts, and visual style.
4. Deliverables
• 2D Design Files (mandatory):
• Front view
• Back view
• 3D mockups (optional, for presentation):
• To visualize depth, material combination, and finish.
5. Style Guidelines
• Materials: Wood + metal combination.
• Color Use: Distinction by distance; event-specific highlights allowed.
• Overall look: premium, collectible, timeless.
6. Scope Clarification
• This project is for design only.
• No technical production specifications required.
