Logo Design Brief
Our primary colors are Danube (a Sherwin-Williams shade) paired with cream and white, with accents of light and dark brown throughout the shop. We're looking for a logo that reflects this color palette—something stylish, modern, and easy to read. It’s important to us that both words in “Espresso Revival” are equally legible and balanced in size; we don’t want one word overshadowing the other.
I’ve attached some logos that resonate with me—some lean more masculine, others more feminine. Ideally, we’re aiming for a design that strikes a balance between the two, but we would probably choose a feminine style over something strictly masculine. We want it to evoke the vibe of a third-wave coffee shop, which we mostly are, though we also carry products that go beyond what’s typically offered in that space. We love the idea of a portafilter (the tool used to make espresso) being incorporated into our design. Right now there is a portafilter in our logo with a coffee plant growing out of it and it's probably the only part of our current logo we love.
