Logo Design Brief

We are an established engineering company in Canada, our legal name is Xentric Engineering Ltd.. We are now considering expanding to the United States market and would like to add an American flair to our logo. Something subtle, but clearly American. The US entity will be called "Xentric USA" - no 'Engineering' on this one. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. I've uploaded our design files from the original logo contest, you'll notice there is a gradient and solid colour version - we'd like similar for this design (gradient and solid).
Again, just subtle changes. We want to keep the "X" and we want to keep the XENTRIC. We otherwise like our colours, no change there. Looking to add USA and a bit of flair.
