Packaging Design Brief

We are designing new packaging for our groundsforimpeachmentcoffee.com products.

Currently we have two - opposition blend and resistance blend, offered in both whole bean and ground variants. You can see our current packing and messaging for each product below.

Our new packaging will be using 12oz flat bottom bags with a valve and rip zipper. The size will be 127x200x80mm (enough for a 12oz bag of coffee beans), and the material is Kraft paper (50g) that's 100% Compostable. A PDF of the design template is attached as a point of reference.

With the above information, looking for the creation of a design for this new packaging consistent with our brand voice, mission and anti-authoritarian / pro-democracy point-of-view.

The goal here is to elevate our packaging and brand from where we are today (basic brown or black gusset bag with a 3:4 sticker applied by roaster (pictures of current packing & label below).

Looking to preserve our core identity while turning up the volume visually and politically. We started this company because democracy was/is under attack and we were tired of drinking bad coffee while watching it burn.

From whatI understand from our manufacturer, that digital printing can be mixed designs, but must be in the same size and material. For example, we can have two blends that have 2 designs (1000pcs per design, 2000pcs in total, for example).

Additionally, the design file must be vector, and we need to provide the font or font package used in the design. Please extend the pattern beyond the frame line by 6mm for bleed.
