Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a small consulting business based in Alaska, called "Gray Owl Consulting". We provide consulting for non-profit management and strategic planning, Arctic/northern research & education projects, and grant writing/management. The logo should have a graphic rendition of a great gray owl (and it must be this owl :) ) overlaid/centered on a compass rose. Colors should be rich/saturated (jewel-toned) in blue and green and/or purple. It should communicate experience and strategic direction.
